Substance Abuse Treatment

Provides a temporary housing solution for men, offering residents the opportunity to experience a semi-independent lifestyle in a structured, clean, and sober environment. Surrounded by supportive peers, residents not only find a sense of community but also gain access to the resources and skills needed for a successful transition into society and permanent housing

The HAHOKO Impact Center is a state-licensed and accredited Therapeutic Living Program that serves as the entry point to a structured, multi-phase reintegration system designed by HAHOKO. This comprehensive program consists of four distinct phases, each strategically designed to guide participants through a progressive journey of recovery, personal growth, and skill-building. The overall objectives are to Educate, Equip, and Prepare individuals for success in permanent housing.

HAHOKO is an approved Medicaid Provider offering Community Integration Services (CIS) to support program participants, as wells as homeless individuals and families in their journey towards stability and independence. The overarching goals of CIS Housing Navigators are to enhance participants’ functioning and successful integration into permanent housing.  

Individualized, intensive treatment for individuals struggling with addiction and co-occurring mental and physical health conditions. Our program offers a safe, stable, and supportive environment where participants receive evidence-based care, counseling, and life skills training to promote long-term recovery and well-being.

Peer Support Services

Hands-on training in various fields, including handyman services, landscaping, commercial cleaning, auto detailing, food service, and urban farming skills that lead to long-term employment opportunities. In addition to training, HAHOKO offers resume building, interview preparation, job search assistance, while providing essential resources such as haircuts, bus passes, and appropriate clothing to ensure individuals are prepared for interviews and workplace success.

Assistance in obtaining essential documents and resources needed for stability and independence. This includes all forms of identification (state ID, birth certificate, Social Security card), General Assistance and SNAP benefits, medical coverage, and access to communication tools like cell phones. 

Guidance and encouragement from trained individuals with lived experience in recovery and reintegration, providing mentorship, emotional support, and practical assistance to help participants navigate challenges and achieve stability.
